The South African Theological Seminary has signed the Participation Agreement, completed their SAML technical integration and are the first privately owned institution in South Africa to join SAFIRE. We would like to welcome SATS on board as a fully functioning identity provider.

Two institutions join SAFIRE

The Cape Peninsula University of Technology and Rhodes University have signed the Participation Agreement and joined SAFIRE. Both institutions are in the final stages of completing their SAML technical integration, and we would like to welcome them on board as a fully functioning identity providers very soon.

SAFIRE Steering Committee Elections

The time has come for the SAFIRE Participants Forum to re-elect Member Representatives seats for the Steering Committee 2018/2019. We are planning to hold this election during the SLA Reference Group meeting, to be held at Koponong Hotel on 15 August and all members of the Participants Forum would be welcome to attend the session (scheduled for 13:30).
